More about Tree Removal
Sometimes a tree's problems are so extensive that it can not be saved. Due to the unfortunate circumstances of a tree, or the tree's location object, the tree may need to be removed. We pride ourselves in finding the safest and most economical solutions for all tree removals.
Trees are removed for a variety of reasons:
- Dead or dying. By removing a dying tree, you may stop other trees from contracting the same problem or disease. By removing the dead or dying tree, you are giving the other surrounding trees a chance to survive.
- Hazardous (leaning or destroying property). Often, trees are planted close to buildings. Although this is not an issue when the tree is small, when the tree gets to 20 or 30 feet, it may cause damage to surrounding buildings, sidewalks, etc. In order to stop this damage, the tree will need to be removed.
- Inappropriate species for the location. Depending on size, trees can either hide other trees or be eclipsed by competing trees. Either scenario can create problems for grass and flowers.
- Overcrowding. When first planted, many small trees are planted close together. Once mature, a thinning process is required to reduce the crowding.
- Blocking view. Over time, trees that were small when planted will get tall and block views. Creative thinning can open views while retaining the privacy that trees lend to neighbors.
We perform two types of removals:
- General Removal: removal of a tree in an open site with no obstacles.
- Hazardous Removal: including removal of a dead or damaged tree or removal of a tree encroaching on hydro lines or buildings. In some cases, specialized equipment may be required.
